5. His response shows that Clinton's claims are not without merit
Edited on Mon Oct-11-10 03:02 PM by karynnj
"Clinton said Paul would roll back federal protection for people with disabilities while pushing tax cuts for rich people. He also mentioned the possibility of cuts to food safety, air traffic control, education and workplace training, among other things."

His response was to ask if there were laws against having sex with your intern (shortened version of what he said). Conway can very easily respond that there are laws that forbid just that and Bill Clinton paid a heavy price for lying about it - he was impeached. Then he could say that he backs such laws and he backs the type of laws Clinton mentioned that Paul did not deny wanting to overturn.

This is easy. There is NO Democrat, including and maybe especially, HRC, who does not think that BC was wrong in his relationship with Monica - quite possibly including Bill Clinton. This could be seen as a gift to Conway in conservative KY - he can completely agree that Clinton was totally wrong on that, while not looking bad to anyone. Meanwhile, he draws additional attention to Clinton's actual charges.

12. There are laws called sexual harrasment in the workplace
At least at AT&T, their interpretation would include what he did.

13. Who claimed to be harrassed, certainly not Lewinsky?
This was consensual sex between two adults... There are no laws against that, I am aware of...

17. You may want to look into your company's practices
Given the difference in their level, if it were many private companies, it would be a problem.

15. That's true - Rand thinks non-violent crimes shouldn't be crimes
So what does he care if Clinton got a blowjob from an intern?

14. I was there
Great crowd. I also loved seeing Wendell Ford there. This is his old Senate seat that Jack is runnung for. Clinton really made it clear. As he said, "They are playing you and you know it".
