Joe the Teabagger is imploding bigtime.

Miller vows silence on background until election.

Republican Senate nominee Joe Miller said this afternoon he will not be answering any more questions about his personal background for the remainder of the campaign.

Miller made the statement to reporters after today's debate before the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce at the Dena'ina Center.

He took no questions.

Miller said the campaign should be focused on issues and not what he described as personal attacks.

The statement came as new questions were raised about Miller's time as an attorney for the Fairbanks North Star Borough. The Alaska Dispatch, quoting an anonymous source, reported Sunday night that Miller used borough equipment in the unsuccessful 2008 attempt to oust state Republican Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich.

The comments are priceless.

Tea Party Express holding off on ads until closer to election

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — A national tea party group supporting Joe Miller in the Alaska Senate race has decided to hold off on running ads in the contest until nearer the election.

Tea Party Express spokesman Levi Russell notes the group also made a big ad push in the waning days of the GOP primary, which Miller won over Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

The group last week unveiled ads it said it hoped to begin airing within days. The ads, shown to reporters and posted online, included one called, "Arrogant Lisa Murkowski — You Lost!" It seeks to cast Murkowski, who is running as a write-in candidate, as more interested in keeping her job than in serving Alaskans' interests.

Murkowski's campaign branded the ad "littered with lies" and distortions, and her attorney warned broadcasters against airing them.

I was at the Chamber luncheon. Scott McAdams did great and was applauded several times. Joe's biggest groaner was he stated that the senator he most admires is Sen. Jim DeMint. Literally, you could hear a big groan go up from the entire roomful of people. Bwa-ha-ha.

1. Bwwahahaha!...there must be some good stuff in those files..
The Fairbanks North Star Borough has asked U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller to allow the release of additional information from his personnel file.

In a letter sent Thursday to Miller's attorney, Ward Merdes, borough attorney Jill Dolan also asks that Miller "retract and correct repeated misrepresentations he has made regarding his records," including postings on his campaign website that suggest it's the borough, not Miller, that is blocking release of the records.

Dolan sent the letter on behalf of the borough after being contacted by an attorney for Alaska Dispatch with a request that the borough disclose additional documents related to Miller's departure from his job as a part-time borough attorney.

9. The Alaska Dispatch has filed suit for the records.
I have no doubt they will be forthcoming. It should be good.

Joe, meet the Streisand Effect:

"The Streisand effect is a primarily online phenomenon in which an attempt to censor or remove a piece of information has the unintended consequence of causing the information to be publicized widely and to a greater extent than would have occurred if no censorship had been attempted."

To throw him in a lake and see if he floats. Yes, I disagree with the 16th century thinking that witches float, but I still want to throw him in a lake :)

8. He has much to hide, it seems. What he's done previously is a tell on how he would do in the
future. If he lied & conned his way before the Senate, ooooo boy, he'll be sure to carry that dishonorable trait on to great success in the Beltway.

I've never seen so many politicians get away with NOT answering critical questions as I've seen this election cycle.

It's fine for Old Spice male models. But I expect more from my political leaders.
