2. Washington and Jefferson?
Would also have accepted Roosevelt and Lincoln. But seriously, I sure miss Carter and Clinton.

Was it bush's idea to be superimposed by Mt. Rushmore in his official portrait? I'm sure it was.

Carter and Clinton's portraits are great, GHW Bush is at least dignified; I don't really like the stylization of St. Ronnie's but it at least seems reasonably appropriate.

The Bush* baby, though-- my God, how pretentious is that? :eyes: Psychologists will have a field day. Ironically, as he goes down in history as the worst pResident, that portrait will haunt him-- the faces of all the "great ones" looking DOWN upon his failure of a pResidency.

Edited on Mon May-21-07 07:41 AM by hlthe2b
have an official "painting" portrait. Is that the one with Rushmore?

Clinton's portrait wasn't unveiled until well after he left office, so Bush*s may not have been done yet. Clinton's was unveiled June 14, 2004.

It appears it is tradiiton for the most recent to hang at the entrance to the Cross Hall of the White House... See the article, but I believe GW Bush*s portrait has not yet been commissioned.

I think he could do this crazy, mixed up admin justice. At least it would be colorful and if you don't "get it" you won't worry because ... well, it's Peter Max man ... you don't have to get it!

24. LOL... Peter Max had a showing at a Denver (Cherry Creek gallery)
a couple of years ago... And yes, it would be colorful and resemble a "drug-induced" haze--all very desirable factors for anyone forced to view a Bush* portrait.

12. The joys of delusion, bush has nothing in common w/any
of the presidents on Rushmore.

Perhaps if the images on Rushmore were Millard Fillmore, Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge and Nixon, there might be a paralell, but this is just one hell of an arrogant projection.

14. You can also look at Junior's image in a different light.
I think the image just might come back to bite him on the ass at some point. It demonstrates an over-inflated ego, a "big head" if you will. It points to his arrogance, his feeling of self importance that is larger than life, and his stubborness to see the facts and do the right thing if it goes against his desires.

This might be another "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" moment for Bush. This image will be used in the history books for generations to come, illustrating if you will, all that is wrong with Bush, Jr.

So much cranial space for such a small minded man.

He should be depicted at a tourist site on another vacation, instead of working in the WH or in the Oval office.
It's President Tourist Guy!

Some ride the coattails of defense industry spokespersons (41).

Some . . . well, I don't really know WHAT the hell drug Zombiefied there is on, but it must be a damned good one.

Other motherfuckers pose next to Mount Rushmore and think they're carved in it (The Failure Fuhrer).
