SALT LAKE CITY – National gay rights activists have delivered a petition letter carrying 150,000 signatures to the Mormon church's Salt Lake City headquarters.
The letter asks Boyd K. Packer of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to withdraw statements from an Oct. 3 sermon that same-sex relationships are unnatural and with enough faith can be overcome.
The Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest gay civil rights organization, collected the signatures in an e-mail campaign.
Activists say such statements are factually inaccurate and can result in bullying that leads some gay youth to attempt suicide.

We all have to keep the pressure on male-supremacist religions to overturn their
anti-homosexual teachings!!
