The Tea Party: A new slant on whackadoodles |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-12-10 08:53 PM by hyphenate
I have been mulling over the GOP's adoption of one of America's historical events to their own heinous ends, and since I am a Bostonian, I find it sacrilegious as well.
However, I have finally come to the conclusion that I can rest assured, knowing that they are actually invoking another event completely, one which suits their position entirely.
Lewis Carroll has never been done better, with buffoons, idiots, mad hatters, crazies, and of course, Alice herself, Sarah Palin. I think the Cheshire Cat is probably Miss Witch, but I will let others to decide who fits what role the best.

1. No, Palin is the Queen yelling "Off with their heads" |
|
Rand Paul with his constant smirk reminds me more of the Cheshire Cat...

2. Lewis Carrol? More like Franz Kafka |
|
Or a Fellini film.
This is a nightmare.
