Please keep your fingers crossed for my kid, who graduated |

from college last year with a communications degree and has been working in the produce department at Meijer. He has an interview tomorrow morning for a paid (although it's not much) internship for a progressive candidate running for mayor of Chicago. They wouldn't tell him who it is on the phone in case he's a saboteur, and according to Wiki there are 11 confirmed and 31 potential Democrats running, so I have no clue who it is. My son did say it's not Rahm, lol. He is so excited about this and it would be really good experience for him, so please cross your fingers or send good thoughts his way; this would be a great opportunity for him.

My daughter worked for Steve Driehaus during his first campaign and now works for Working America, canvasing Ohio. Both experiences have been amazing for her. Too bad the Working America job ends on election day.
