On a positive note
My wife and I have been working hard for a good friend who is running for State Senate here in Colorado. It is a heavily Republican area. A month ago, our friend was 17 points down. A week ago it was 5 points down. Not it's 3, smaller than the margin of error. Relentless telephoning and canvassing. Her opponent is an out there Tea Bagger, and I think the Independents are swinging our way. If we get our vote out, and I beleive we will, we might actually win the District, which has been in Republican hands since Reagan.

My mother used to say it's always darkest before the dawn. Sounds corny and PollyAnna-ish, but it's true.

Keep working it.
