It's harvest time, I have seen the choppers
circling around for the last two days looking for pot. With all the murders, stabbings, robberies, missing persons and such the cops are spending who knows what to steal some poor guy's harvest. Don't make sense to me.

6. really? i did not know that. i think that at the very least for medicinal purposes
it should be available. my dad's girlfriend has cancer. if it would help, then why can't it be available for the purpose of pain management?

9. It should be
But the banning relied on racial stereotypes of sex crazed blacks and Mexicans. In the 1950s all the way to the just say no (less obvious) it continued to rely on stereotypes.

Pharma these days might have a little to do, given several states have medical use starting actually with the Glaucoma studies of the 1970s, we have truly still stuck on racist ideas. Look at the propaganda and peel it. Under the bad effects in developing brains, there is still race.

8. I saw a documentary on that on the Discovery or History
channel. Gotta keep that stuff from the black men or they will go crazy and rape our women folk. I believe they also used that line on Mexicans.

15. Even better, I read last summer that 95% of what they seize..
they call "ditchweed" a.k.a. "hemp".

HUGE waste of resources, but they get to keep claiming they seize vast amounts of marijuana and are winning the war on drugs. Alternatively, the more hemp they seize, the more dire the threat.

It's win-win for the DEA and the other enforcement agencies involved. How many sheriff's departments or local po-po could afford helicopters if they didn't have the war on drugs, the justification of large seizures or Federal tax dollars being poured into their budgets?

20. He could lose his land via asset forfeiture laws. Maybe his life.

http://www.mpp.org/victims/donald-scott.html">Remember Donald Scott.

Asset forfeiture laws are one of the biggest crimes of the WODs. Presumes guilt. What could be more anti-American.

Vote YES on Prop 19!

17. They get funding for it and make a lot of overtime off of cannabis.
When it becomes legal in Cali for those over 21, a lot of the DEA and local cops will have to find another pastime.

18. Illegal farming on public lands...
...damages the environment. Pollution caused by poisons not sold in the US, damage to fragile ecosystems, danger to hikers by the caretakers, water and electricity stolen from nearby farms. Pass prop 19 and this will go away.

Time to stop this madness. The WODs is a monumental failure.

19. It's that time of the year
Dinosaurs become a real nuisance in late fall when they discover and devour the budding illicit marijuana plots in the hills, then wander down and rampage lethargically through the local farmers' markets. They've grown extremely fond of the baked goods. They favor the sticky buns and raisin bread in particular. After consuming all the pot and baked goods they fall over in the streets and slumber. That's when men wearing dark glasses fly in with their black helicopter and relocate them far back in the hills only to have the event repeat itself the following year.

22. Rather than spending inordinate amounts of money

to fund these searches, to seize property, to take money out of circulation, to prosecute and incarcerate human beings, the State of Tennessee right now could be raking in the tax money, solving a great deal of its economic troubles.

The Jack Daniels and other distilleries are in this state, so you'd think they'd get this simple economic reality.

I'd never grow here personally; the risks are too great even though the climate is near perfect. But i think how prosperous this state could be if we had a fair system where cannabis and hemp were grown for profit and taxed.

It could save this state. But all the wealthy alcoholics in charge like the system just the way it is...
