If my perceptions are right, this thread will sink like a brick.

1. I either Recommend or Ignore
I don't get this whole argument about this feature. Don't some of you have other things to do?

2. It's all about rec / unrec
my entire life revolves around counting how many people agree with any and all of my posts and deriding those that would demean them and me by clicking on a button. This is of course a massive conspiracy funded by George Soros or the DLC depending on which of my posts is being unrecced, the unforgivable bastards!

Anybody that would dare unrec a thread of mine and take it off the hallowed Greatest Page should be racked and then boiled in oil for their transgression.

Your posts however are so "full of fail" that they must be unrecced off the face of the planet. ;-)

4. Yep, so sick of it...
If I ran DU, I would start tombstoning people who complain about it on a new thread.

I LOVE it! It's such fun to read these threads and watch everybody just explode...no Teabagger could EVER stir as much bile as gets spilled over the rec/unrec controversy!!

It's amazing, really...I'm thinking about starting a new drinking game around it...LOL...:toast:

8. I unrec all the time... or just ignore. In fact, I very rarely rec any thread.
Edited on Thu Oct-14-10 10:13 AM by OneTenthofOnePercent
Not that I disagree with all threads... I just don't go out of my way to rec things whereas I don;t mind taking the time to drop a thread's rec-count. And if ANYONE whines about recs/unrecs in a thread then I give an immediate unrec regardelss of the thread topic or content. Spite is new compassion nowdays...

On the flip side, I could care less if people rec/unrec my threads.

9. I barely care enough to respond to this thread
If there's something I don't like about a thread I can ignore it.

If I REALLY don't like it I can always respond and make my opinions known.

Conversely if I really like something I can say so.

What fucking good is the rec/unrec feature?

Keep it, I don't care. Or get rid of it, I don't care about that either.

I'm amazed I'm even wasting this much time saying I don't care about it.

I will kick this thread later to keep it hot.

about it needs to get a real life.

18. Are all the folks who want to keep the feature
some kind of organized opposition? Considering the results of this poll, that doesn't appear likely..

Why bother defending your own position when you can just crap on the positions of others anonymously?
