Miners Mistress reveals 5 more upset wives

As the cheers and celebration continue on after 33 miners were rescued yesterday on live video feeds around the world, another dramatic battle is brewing. Details are leaking out about a growing problem of miner mistresses that are coming into the spotlight staking a claim.

Yonni Barrios was the first that had to face both his wife and mistress when he was pulled from the depths of the Chile mine. Mr. Barrios has been labeled in the media as the, “Miner With a Wife and Girlfriend” after his mistress Susana Valenzuela met him at the top of the mine during his rescue.

Embarrassment bubbled up for Yonni Barrios when his wife, Marta Salinas, refused to meet him at the top of the mine and demanded it either be her or the mistress. The sentiment hasn’t changed and seems to only be getting worse when Marta Salinas refused to visit Yonni in the hospital. Ms. Salinas was quoted as saying, “If he wants to see me or talk to me he can come find me. Otherwise we will talk through our lawyers. I have his belongings and all these gifts people have sent him – he is welcome to have them.”

2. I guess I fail to see how the private lives of these miners

is relevant to anything. They were trapped. They were rescued. What is the point of this probing into their lives and relationships?

Feh. Not everyone's life needs to be exposed to public view. The rescue is a legitimate story. This crap is not. It is that simple.

These people were thrust into the public eye through no fault of their own, and now their private lives have been bantered around like politicans. It just shows the media is disgraceful in promoting such and we as a people are even more so because we allow them to peddle the stuff to us. Shameful

15. Not my busy. I loved the last miner who said "I have the heart of a bear."

Many of the miners credited him with keeping them alive, sane, and busy.

I watched the rescue, never expecting these men to be anything other than totally human. I don't need to know their private business.

17. A friend of mine has a son wh o suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. He spent months in a rehab

Center north of NYC. There was another patient there who had been in a car accident and had lost his ability to speak.
His problems only got worse when BOTH OF HIS WIVES showed up to visit him.
I was standing in the hallway watching this scene from some weird TV show: The women standing face to face, over him...as he sat in his wheelchair...unable to utter a word...while the women screamed at him and at each other.

I didn't know this sort of thing happened in the working class.

But, I'm still happy that all of them were rescued.
