West Virginia Senate back in Blue ... For Now
Some serious ping-ponging in West Virginia, where Democrat Joe Manchin first looked unbeatable, then left for dead, and now back on top, according to recent polling from PPP, CNN, and Marshall University.

Yes, he's doing his damndest to separate himself from the president and his unpopular policies (unpopular in West Virginia - don't jump on me for saying so) but what might really be hurting Republican rich-guy John Raese is that while he's boasted about inheriting HIS fortune, he doesn't think West Virginians should be afforded a minimum wage.

That's right, Raese wants to do away with a federal standard that 2/3rds of the country wants raised. And he's getting hammered pretty good (and rightfully so) for it:

2. I think that the carpetbagger
Raese is starting to be seen as a carpetbagger and that isn't looked on too kindly in a place like West Virginia.

There is a lot of racism in this state. I see it every day

4. John Raese never was ahead in West Virginia, not in this race or any other he's run in
You all forget, this is not John's first Senate bid. The man has never done well statewide and he won't this time either. There has never been a minute in the history of man when he could have won an election in this state, not in the past, not in the present.
