Arnold Schwarzenegger tweets on Meg Whitman: 'It's appalling when anyone sells out'

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/california-politics/2010/10/schwarzenegger-calls-meg-whitman-a-sell-out-for-pension-positions.html

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has not yet endorsed a candidate for governor, took to his Twitter feed to weigh in on Meg Whitman's pension plan and a Jerry Brown confidant's use of the word "whore" to describe the Republican gubernatorial nominee.

Schwarzenegger was asked by a liberal tweeter what he thought of Whitman "selling her vote to the police union." Schwarzenegger replied that "it's appalling when anyone sells out." Schwarzenegger also said the use of the word "whore" was "unacceptable." Whitman spokesman Tucker Bounds did not comment directly on Schwarzenegger's tweets but did talk about why some law-enforcement groups were backing Whitman.

"The reality of the situation is public safety officers have endorsed Meg Whitman because they know she'll be tough on crime,"he said. "Jerry Brown on the other hand supports releasing dangerous criminals from our prisons and appointing liberals like Rose Bird to the bench."

Schwarzenegger was taken to task by another Twitter follower who seized on his sell-out comments for a jab about his movie career.

7. Oh, I appreciated her, too.
It's just that she became a symbol and dog-whistle for the righties in Cali. Sort of the George Soros before there was a George Soros.

5. How could he "sell out" when Enron basically created his candidacy?
He was OWNED by them from Day One.
