Quadriplegic teen gets free healthcare, room and board, cable TV and education for life
BRADENTON, Fla. -- A quadriplegic teen has been sentenced to life in prison for killing a woman during a robbery at a Bradenton home.

A Manatee County judge sentenced 19-year-old Ta Heem Blake Thursday, after a jury found him guilty of first-degree murder and other charges.

Authorities say Blake and Marquis Sanders broke into the home in February 2009. Blake reportedly shot 55-year-old Maria Lerma, who died at the scene, and her boyfriend, who later recovered.

Lerma's son fired at Blake, severing his spinal cord. Police found him at the scene, just feet from the murder weapon.

1. Justice has been served,
Frankly the kid is lucky he didn't get killed.

No sympathy for a murderer.
