Eliot Spitzer on CNN: Stand up to Wall Street President Obama or we're done |
|
In his opening argument on "Parker Spitzer," Eliot Spitzer urges President Obama to stand up to Wall Street with less than three weeks to go before the 2010 midterms. See his comments here: http://parkerspitzer.blogs.cnn.com/2010/10/14/spitzer-stand-up-obama-or-were-done/

3. Spitzer nailed it - that's the key reason for discouragement - no fight. |
|
Representatives who give our interest away are a dime a dozen.
Stand up. Have the fight. Fight hard. That would generate lots of enthusiasm... oh, and results too.

6. "spitzer is a clown." Really? Did his comments about Wall Street trigger spasms of laughter? |
|
Now get serious.
What did you disagree with in his comments and why?
Or you can continue your personal attack on him if that's the best you can do.

13. You're having trouble with understanding what the caption means or what the word "done" means? |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-15-10 04:45 PM by Better Believe It
Let me try to help you since you obviously are not nit picking.
I know, I know! You're not really picking nits.
Perhaps the word "finished" should have been used instead as in "we're finished" rather than "we're done".
Or how about "we're toast" if Wall Street banks are allowed to continue their criminal activity?
Now that does not mean we would all turn into pieces of toasted bread, or a bagel, so please don't take that literally.
We're done, we're finished, we're toast are all figures of speech describing what will happen to us if the Wall Street crooks are not brought under control.
Anything else I can help you with?

Think we ought to lighten up and leave the poor babies alone?
We're acting like bullys and pickin on them!
How sad.
Let me shed a tear.
Did Congressman Alan Grayson just go all "tabloidy" when he wrote to Law Enforcement Officials: "It's time for handcuffs for greedy Bankers!"?

How much did you agree with them during the Bush dark years? I don't know how old a DUer you are, but back in the day seeing anything of worth on CNN that wasn't licking bush's ass or rah rahing the repugs was a rareity of rares. Maybe 2% of the time they weren't full of shit fucking liars.
But now they have cred.
yeh, ok.....

just because Spitzer is mouthing something you want to believe and something the low life slime shits at CNN want to push, does does not make it true. When did your belief in CNN start because you should probably bone up on how much 'integrity' they have.

17. So when Eliot Spitzer attacks Wall Street it can't be true if it's said on CNN |
|
Well, that even makes more sense!
So even if a CNN weather forecaster says the Sun will be rising in the east I should look for it to rise in the west and set in the east.
And if in January a CNN weather forecaster predicts a January snowstorm in Chicago I should run around on La Salle Street naked!
Thanks for your help again!

I see a former kick-ass Attorney General and Governor who made Wall Street PEE ITS PANTS.
A combination of his bad behavior and a political take-down knocked him out of the ring.
He's no Katie Couric.

too bad he made it so easy for them.
Hard to be a crusader against bad behavior and then found to be indulging in the same vices that you prosecute others for.
Still, he had the guts to take on the big money guys when no one else did, and he paid the price, including having people slam him because he's not entertaining enough for a bleeping talk show host!
