Redford man accused of leading moms to assault their kids

A Redford man accused of manipulating women in three states into molesting their children, and then letting him view the sex acts via webcam or photographs, was ordered jailed today by a federal judge in Detroit.

Steven Demink, 41, who is facing three child pornography charges, allegedly met the three mothers from Idaho, Florida and New Hampshire on a single parents Web site -- him using the pseudonym Dalton St. Clair, according to court records.

During his online chats, he would order them to sexually assault their minor children and take pictures of the acts, including some that he saw live via webcam, according to court records.

In one case, Demink pretended to be a psychologist, telling one mother he could help her deal with a child that had mental health issues by helping her get closer to that child, records showed.
