The Reid Angle debate: I didn't see it. I've heard that Reid did terrible |
|
How well did angle do? To me hearing her in interviews this should have been a cake walk for Reid but the info I'm hearing from CNN is that Reid was terrible.

3. debate too sad to describe |
|
Scary came across as slightly batty, nervous, but very loud-voiced, red outfit, spoke directly to Harry, sometimes insultingly, with her usual talking points of half-assed nonsense, big fake smile all the time. Harry never looked at her once, very serious demeanor, spoke in his usual quiet monotone, rattled off his answers quickly which were good ones, but containing a lot of congress-speak which most people do not understand, called Scary extreme several times, but not convincingly. Reid is very smart, perhaps capable in his position in Congress, but he has NO public speaking skills. I do not think he came across well to the average voter. Scary may have impressed her supporters, and her financial backers who do not care how capable she is, the dumber the better; but I do not think she impressed anyone else. Sad. Sad. Sad. Depressing.

the problem was Reid did have facts - Angle had talking points. Reid is intelligent and his facts and truth did not reach those who have no intelligence like those supporting Angle. The debate was a snoozer not just because of Reid, Angle and the moderator were snoozers too.

6. There's a reason why teaparty people are running so many "perky" women |
|
They can be rude & sassy & and impugn the manhood of their male opponents, and there's no real way for them to fight back without appearing to "bully the 'lil woman"...they "take" it, and they are wimps.
the woman only has only to avoid shitting herself onstage, and she's the winner:(

ignorant leader. She sounds like the "corporate gods" can fix anything--so after she privatizes the shite out of everything maybe the people will get some service for a pretty penny. Of course, if you don't like it, there won't be no one to complain to because ya'll know that government is "evil." Corporations should be able to screw you for the last penny, poison your food, water and air and sell you cheap shite. After all, it's all about the fairytale "free market" and if a corporation poisons thousands of people under the "free market" they will no longer exist. Right?
We the people are the government, but for over twenty years with the help of the media, it's been the "evil" government. Government can do it better and cheaper than any corporation--of course, if you are an administration attempting to rid federal programs, then, you make sure you do it as incompetent as possible--so taxpayer's money can further be funneled to your greedy, corporate friends, while further doing away with decent jobs to cheap jobs. And, the biggy--less representation for the people and less accountability for corporations.

...I so wished Harry would have turned to her and said "shut up, cunt"! I mean if he's going down, I would just once like to see a Dem slam the door in one of these clown's faces. I've been wanting Harry to do that in the Senate to both sexes for a looooong time. (I'm surprised that the repukes didn't nominate someone with the push up bra and doing the "fancy pagent" walking. She sort of looks like a stoned Cheshire Cat"!)
