Senior Citizens Lead to Slaughter House with Smile on Their Faces
Hi--I'm an old fart who is ashamed of my fellow old farts who are in the Tea Party. I would like to take a pipe and hit these elderly clowns upside the head. All you hear from these greedy bastards is "save my SS"/"save my Medicare". Soooo, what are they going to do about it?---why they are proudly marching to the voting booth and voting for the candidates who have looked them square in the eye and told them that their first mission when they get to D.C. is to get rid of SS and Medicare! (JesusHchrist, maybe we should have passed out hearingaides instead of brochures). Ahhhhh, but they think that if they cut the throats of their children and grandchildren that their useless, wrinkled asses will live forever!---they don't get the concept that if money isn't coming into these programs that soon they will be told that their SS and Medicare went bye, bye. (You know, these are the same bastards that we liberals fought in the 60's for equal rights, women's rights and the push to get out of Viet Nam----they are like poop you can't get off your shoes)!

5.  "old farts who are in the Tea Party"
If they are "old fart who is ashamed of my fellow old farts who are in the Tea Party", then they are probably infected with the kind of selfishness bug that makes people who no longer have children of their own in school unwilling to pay school taxes, women beyond the child-bearing years to care about maternity benefits, etc., etc.,
"old fart who is ashamed of my fellow old farts who are in the Tea Party",
Thank God for the many liberal Democratic public servant old farts whom I feature at http://Liberal-Insights.org/FamilyvaluesParty.html .

6. Hubby & I Old Farts
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that both of us served in the "public sector" educating the children and grandchildren of these Tea Party Old Fart clowns that makes me want to spit on them. They aren't a "new movement". They are the same bastards who have fought every forward motion in this country and who think compassion is for losers. Bye the bye--their kids and grandchildren usually turned out to be idiots like their parents

7. They're the same old farts who fought civil rights reforms, and
who fought every progressive movement since the 60s. The faces get more wrinkled, but they never change.

9. except, except...
..my face (cough).......but I have to stop dying this hair 'cause it's falling out all over the place! I'm wondering if my Medicare would cover "hair replacement" for women....hmmmm, a few new boobs would perk me up. I think what would really perk me up is to wade into one of these retirement communities with a bull horn and start trying to educate these "senior stupids"! Indeed, they are the ones we had to beat down in the 60's to get anything accomplished. That's why I keep dying my hair and stuff because I don't want to be associated with them!!!!!!!!!

10. They are still stupid, however their numbers are no longer insignificant.
They have been scared, misinformed, and conditioned, mostly through the various media, into this pathetic state of servile panic.

Just like any herd of prey, they can be easily panicked into stampeding, but also like that panicked herd, once they go off there's no controlling which way or how far they will go.

11. What Republicans don't understand is that the Teabaggerati will turn on them next

Like all bad ideas the seed of destruction is within them. The foundation has to be strong for anything to survive.

12. This is what I can't understand about my three sisters.
They have their heads so far up republican ass they can't breath and now they worship Rush and the tea bags. They are the ones who would give their social security money to wall street to play with. And you can't them them a thing. They think fox and Rush are wonderful. My one sister blamed the Democratic congress for not giving us the $250 dollars to make up for not getting a raise last year. She wouldn't listen when I explained it was tied to inflation. And I told her even tho 12 Democrats voted against that $250 dollars EVERY DAMN ONE OF THE REPUBLICAN LIBERMAN INCLUDED (42) VOTED AGAINST IT. They complained that Obama and he Democrats raised their taxes last year, couldn't not get it thru their heads they didn't, SHE HEARD IT ON FOX. So this is what you are up against and there is not way any explanation will satisfy them, they let fox make up their minds and they won't change it.

I used to have an Aunt back in the 1970's who used to talk to the TV soap operas and get made because they didn't do what she told them to. she wasn't nuts, she just believed everything she saw or heard on TV.

14. So, let me get the numbers right.
If you're 70 now, you were born in 1940. So in the '60s you'd be under 30.

If you're 65 now, you'd have been born in '45 and have turned 25 in 1970. So many of the college kids who were doing the fighting in '68 and '69 and '70 are, in your words, "poop you can't get off your shoes".

You think that the Civil Rights Movement was primarily a fight against oppression by the entrenched political class consisting largely of young adults aged 15-25? That the movers and shakers that got us into Vietnam and kept us there were 28 to perhaps 40 years old when the Paris Accords were signed?

Or are you just calling those over 75 years of age or so "old"? That's far from a majority of those you seem to be talking about.

16. I hereby christen them "corporate human shields'
It is my new name for them. Please indulge me my only pleasure, as I do not have any logic strong enough to pierce through their conditioning at this time.
