I know that O'Donnell is, but I don't know how many others are (for that matter, is that the opinion of Sarah Palin as well?). In any case, even one is too many as far as I'm concerned.
In any case, I came across an old Carl Sagan video today that I've not seen before. An entire segment regarding Johannes Kepler; the final quote really struck me as a pretty decent summation of the way things SHOULD be as opposed to the Idiotocracy we seem to be heading towards.
"When he found that his long cherished beliefs did not agree with the most precise observations, he accepted the uncomfortable facts. He preferred the hard truth, to his dearest illusions."The video is definitely worth a look-see, although I realize I'm largely preaching to the choir here (one prominent right-wing forum current has a "hot topic" discussing how O'Donnell is right about the Theory of Evolution being a myth. :banghead: )

"THAT, is the heart, of science"The very fact that idiot politicians are on the rise looking actively to bring about a new Dark Age should scare any rational person who's paying attention.
