CARSON CITY, Nev.—Republican attorney general candidate Travis Barrick says he doesn't regret his 1989 arrest at a San Diego-area abortion clinic.

Barrick told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he exercised his rights, and some women changed their minds about having abortions because of the protest.

Democratic Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto is airing TV advertisements that note Barrick served jail time for "harassing women."
