The Real Heroes of the Chile Mine according to the Media |
Is the media. They can't stop patting themselves on the back.

1. I would say the miners themselves are the ones to be congratulated |
along with the drillers and the Chilean President. Not the media

6. I'm profoundly glad the rescue happened |
This is just fallout and predictable. There were a hundred things and thousands of people that contributed, not the least of those things being the luck that the tunnel they drilled held up for all the rescues. Every step of the way was seriously iffy and just one not working out could have caused a different outcome.
