9. Why not? Rethugs are mostly stupid |
|
why not take advantage of it. It's getting to be a dirty little war out there, if you haven't noticed.

11. It's okay. The GOP's witches' coven will make the election any day they wish. |
|
They've already cast a spell on the whole country already to make sure they'll win.
Hocus pocus.

10. That actually happened to my mother. Funny story. |
|
My dad was a US History teacher. He died in 1999. Both of my parents were lifelong Democrats. In 2004, my mom got a phone call a week or so before the election from a local Republican operative. He identified himself by his real name and claimed he was working for the Democratic party and offered to give her a ride to the polls on Wed, November ___. She recognized the name and asked "Aren't you the John Doe who went to X High School?" He said "Yes I am." So she said "Well my husband was your history teacher and he would be embarrassed to know you still haven't learned that the election is the first Tuesday in November, not Wednesday."
Then my mom called the local Democratic party and turned the guy in. They contacted the state AG and SOS. There was an investigation. Turned out this asshole had called hundreds of senior citizens registered as Democrats.
The best part is this guy had been a perennial candidate for years. He had run for state rep, state senate, county offices, etc. Never won but always ran. But in the last three elections, (06, 08, 10) he hasn't been on the ballot. Thank you, Mom:)
