Anyone in NYC catch Bozell the Clown's Teabagger protest at the Times? |

Early this afternoon I was passing by the NY Times building and there were a couple of dozen people with signs, holding them up but not chanting or shouting. Some signs were homemade, but most were printed up with "Don't trust the Liberal Media" (those last two words in red), each one bearing the logo of the Brent Bozell's Media Research Center. They were still passing out the signs from a big bundle as I was passing.
In a way, I'm kind of disappointed I didn't see any of that classic Teabagger spelling prowess, but then I only saw three or four homemade signs, and two I didn't get a good look at their smaller print (the big words were the basic blame Obama crap). One of those was also complaining about GE and MSNBC, and one of the other ones was a festival of hate on Chris Matthews.
One lady's sign said: "As a Cuban exile I believe Communism followed me here. I don't want to go into exile again." Check me if I'm wrong, but Castro took over Cuba a little over 50 years ago, right? Now, I'm not the best judge of age, but either this lady was incredibly well-preserved, or she was just a little kid when that happened. Not to mention her parents took her to a country that was considerably more "Communist" than we are now, what with the higher tax rates, stronger unions, and strong financial regulation we had back then.
It appeared to still be in its "gathering" phase when I passed (and I don't have any neat pictures). Anyone know more?
