So I leave Target today. And when I got to my car there was a guy who owned the oversized SUV was looking at the bumper-sticker I had on the dash of my car. I asked if everything was ok - his car was parked a bit close to the edge of the space and perhaps he hit mine with his door or something.

Wasn't that.

Asked about if I was voting for Chris Coons, I told him yes.

He said Chris Coons would raise my taxes, I said I know about the county tax increases and that I know my taxes in New Castle County were still cheaper than just about any county over in New Jersey.

I also told him that if he wanted to vote for O'Donnell so badly please take her back home to New Jersey because we didn't want her here and find her an embarrassment to our state.

He got in his car and left.

I said pretty much the same thing about the taxes to someone who called doing a survey the other day. Sounded like they were skewing questions to get a favorable republican reading, so I'm glad I was able to give her my 'opinion'. She said toward the end, 'Honey, you're my kinda girl. I get paid to do this, and some of these questions make me sick." She sounded like an older african american woman. The ACLU called for a donation the other day too and I told the guy that I couldn't do it now as all my 'donation' money was going to Coons and Carney. I said we have to keep the tea baggers from getting a stranglehold on our government. He agreed, chuckled because I used the word 'bagger' instead of 'party', and said he'd keep me on the list for the next cycle.
