FYI: Nick and I are safe and sound back home in SC!

It was a grueling 3150 mile drive from Bend, OR, to Greenville, SC, and we did it in a little over six days (stopped to see my dad in Georgia on Friday). As promised, I'll make one more post with photos (once I go through all of them). It will be the best 10 (or so) photos of the season in a poll format for you to vote.

Thanks again to the Mods, Admins, and all you DUers who kept me company as my fire lookout tower experience, again, broke all records against the speed of solitude. It was a gas! I re-upped for the 2011 fire season, so I guess I have seven months to get the damn book finished.
