How Much Embezzlement Is Going On In The Mortgage Business? |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-18-10 10:02 AM by Junkdrawer
The absolutely breathtaking fraud being exposed in the ForeclosureGate scandal begs the question: How many Bernie Madoff's are out there siphoning off funds? How many new Swiss billionaires are being created by the lax record keeping of MERS?
I mean, now that CDO (Collateralized Debt Obligations) owners are now expecting that their investments are gone and what with almost no one able to definitively say who owns what mortgage note, the temptation for embezzlement must be huge.

If it wasn't all about embezzlement, why would they bother with it?

3. With the amount of 100% PHONY documents flying around.... |

I would be SHOCKED if there weren't embezzlement going on. When the boss says lie, cheat, & steal, you know some employees will strike out on their own.
