*sigh* well the company I work for has frozen payraises
again this year maybe we will get a cost of living for the first time in 2 years ... that is what they call a payraise ...
.... and raised health care premiums by 4-8 percent .... and dropped
several of the options in health care .... I did NOT ask for this ...

4. Mine hasn't announced it yet, but it's coming.
No cost of living increases for the past 2 years. Certainly no merit raises. Looks like we're headed for year three.

5. This is the new normal.
Instead of a pay raise, employers now can just not fire you/lay you off, and may even ask for (and get) wage concessions..:(
