Help me out here folks! What does "Shattered his Glass Jaw" mean?
From the mouth of Christine O'Donnell:

http://www.delawareonline.com/article/20101017/NEWS02/10170366

Despite a University of Delaware poll to the contrary, O'Donnell said she had gotten the best of Democratic opponent Chris Coons in their nationally televised debate Wednesday night.

"What happened on Wednesday is we shattered his glass jaw," O'Donnell said.

2. A glass jaw means you can't take any kind of a punch.

Generally speaking, it means you're not tough.

And if I may quote the immortal Aerosmith, Christine, dream on.

4. Knocked out.
A punch landed on the jaw is what typcially knocks a boxer out. A boxer with a "glass jaw" is a term for someone who gets knocked out easily.

6. Here you go
Vulnerability, especially of a public figure, to destructive criticism.

So my guess is that they mean that they (think they) shattered his vulnerability and now are going to eat him like the wolves they are.

9. She thinks she won the debate
Her verbal "punches" broke his "weak jaw" arguments.

She can dream on.

10. A boxer w/ a glass jaw is one who has a strong attack but is defeated easily
due to inability to take the punches.

Her claim indicates she BELIEVES that he was knocked out in the debate. She took down an opponent who is good at dishing it out but couldn't take it.

12. strong attack not required.
I think it is just the latter: a boxer vulnerable to being easily knocked out

19. It means that half the game is 90% mental.
And we oughtta pair up in threes to take that fork in the road when we come to it or else it'll be deja vu all over again.

After all, it gets late early out here.

This thread needs more sports metaphors.
