After 19 months of unemployment, |
|
my husband landed a job 3 months ago. I had been more than a bit afraid to spend any money (in case we got in to the same situation again)....but I feel that I can donate a little more money to candidates in this election.
I'm feeling pretty good about the CA-GOV, CA-SEN, and nearby representatives races and don't feel I need to donate more here.
If you had a little to spare, who would you contribute to?
Thanks for the suggestions.

I'd like to say there is just no way Johnson can win...but there have been an influx of fundies here in the last 10 years...but I do think Russ has a good chance...
On edit: on local blogs and comments on the larger papers there has been real heavy defense with a lot of Dems, but the Johnson defenders seem to be one or two people posting as more (like they are paid operatives, they post almost the same defenses over and over) Also in the Voice of the People section of the locals in the area, I've seen very few letters of support for Johnson and editorial supports are not going for Johnson here...mainly because they don't see a Jr. Senator being able to accomplish much in an already divided Senate...

Race is really close, and he's been doing a great job for Ohio by attracting "green jobs" and fighting offshoring. Sadly, he's not getting the credit he deserves, thanks to the blatant lies in John Kaisich's non-stop attack ads.

I donated to DU, Feingold, Strickland, Foster, and Bennet (and added Grayson and Bera just to drive the GOP insane).
