Question to pet owners re Global Weather Change...
has any of you noticed weird behavior with your furr, feathered kids?

IT is not spring, but ours are acting as if it were...

I mean the screeching is getting to the point of insufferable. And I suspect it does partially have to do with changing weather patterns.

7. Don't Indoor Pets Do This, Anyway?
I'm not a climate change denier. In fact, i'm one who suggests that data is irrelevant. The theory dictates it HAS to be happening.

But, i've never had anything but 100% indoor pets, and all of them have done the shedding/molting thing year round.

Now, the howling thing, i don't know about. None of ours ever do it, so i'm completely unaware.

8. The parrots used to to this
twice a year, spring and fall. But it is also their behavior that is off.

Granted one of them is still mourning his life partner, yes been a year, but he is still missing him.

5. They're cats. Define "weird"
I've got a lot of orchids in spike, but again: they're orchids, so by definition weird.

9. my wolfdog is completely out of control this last week
Edited on Mon Oct-18-10 09:33 PM by Zephie
every chance she gets she bolts out the front door! I've had to chase her down the road 9 times since last sunday. Nothing except the weather has changed in her environment. My quaker parrot has also doubled his screaming behavior! He quiets down when we wheel his cage onto the porch. I was actually wondering if it was the weather as well. Glad to know that my pets aren't the only ones having a sudden bout if insanity!

10. My nanday is going absolutely bonkers
I am proud of him, that he is not a loud Nanday... not the last four days. He's spent record time in time out.
