More lunacy from the political wing of the Tea Party : - 'Illegal Immigrants should be shot'.
Edited on Mon Oct-18-10 05:59 PM by TheBigotBasher
Georgia's Republican State Rep. John Yates has a position on immigration that almost nobody would agree with: he wants US border agents empowered to "shoot to kill."

Asked to justify his position, Yates recently told a reporter in Atlanta that illegal immigrants are enemies of America who must be dealt with severely.

"Stopping Hitler was worth the price," the 89-year-old lawmaker said.

" ought to be armed and, if warned by leaflets dropped all over Mexico that says that we will shoot to kill if anybody crosses, and be serious about this -- and if they do that then there won't be anybody killed," Yates said.

The 89 year old spokesman for the Tea Party Terror movement announced on their Saudi funded propaganda arm, Fox News, that illegal aliens were an "invading force" who should be treated with utmost hostility.

2. "That almost nobody would agree with"..........
Don't be so sure. I'm willing to bet there is a good third of the country that would get behind that.

3. until it started happening
then they would about face. Same with nuclear weapons, I here people say all the time, "lets just nuke em'", but if a WMD was actually used, I know they would be appalled.

4. How can he justify that stopping Hitler would have been worth the price
when he's essentially making us East Germany?

5. My goodness!
Will John McCain be asked about these comments? Will NBC rush out to get Michele Bachmann's take on this quote? Will we be favored with Sarah Palin's opinion regarding Mr. Yates' loony pronouncement? Will any Republican anywhere be tasked with reacting to these comments, or will they simply slide down the Memory Hole, and we'll all continue to pretend that the Republicans are sane?
