world's largest toddler banned from some preschools
Edited on Mon Oct-18-10 08:22 PM by Liberal_in_LA

Xiao Hao is a 3-year-old Chinese boy who the media is calling the "world's fattest toddler." He weighs five times more than the average child his age should, and many preschools in Southern China have unfairly banned him from school because he is a "health hazard" to other students, the British Sun reports.

3. He's one chunky kid, but he's also probably more than a foot TALLER...
...than the other 3-year-olds as well.

He's an acromegalic giant in the making, and a doctor who specializes in that form of illness needs to step in and limit him to a height of 6'6" or so, otherwise there's no telling when or even if he'll stop growing.

5. I agree.
We had a case of that in the family. Didn't catch it until he was in his thirties though because people in the family are generally tall anyway.

4. They could have picked a photo that made him look like a human.
At any given moment you could watch about any three-year-old shove a spoon in their mouth that way. I want to see the kid's face, not a photo chosen deliberately for its caricature-like elements. That boy is a lot taller than any of the other children there. It's obvious there's more going on here than just overeating.

11. Wow, a 140 lb 3 year old? He's also quite tall.
"world's fattest toddler" is a bit unfair. He is quite overweight, but he's got some serious issues going on I'm betting.

13. I'd put him on our kind of diet with an emphasis on calorie dense starches and legumes.
He's gonna be in for a rougher ride than most of us if he's given the Westernized junk that's being import to China by our clusterfuck corporations. :(
