McAdams, Murkowski debate without Miller |
|
Joe Miller’s chief rivals in the Alaska Senate race debated without him Monday, a day after an incident at a Miller town hall in which an editor was handcuffed and detained by private security. Miller couldn’t make the Alaska Dispatch debate due to a long-standing scheduling conflict, his spokesman said. http://community.adn.com/adn/node/153758could this be the reason for scheduling conflict? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=385&topic_id=516392&mesg_id=516392

1. What arrogance. Not even showing up for the debate. |
|
How can people vote for someone who thinks he's so far above them that he can just ignore the process. Alaska grows some weird politicians.

2. I think it was more chicken shit |

could be a little humiliating to have the person you had shoved and handcuffed hosting the debate.
You know there would have been at least one questions regarding this incident. so I call Chicken Shit.

3. Obviously, Little Joe forgot his "man pants" |

But it's so typical. Just being in the same room with Hopfinger would remind everyone of the incident and "embarrass" the poor little fragile thing. It might make him "uncomfortable."
I agree. 100% pure, unadulterated chickenshit.

5. Funny thing is, he probably would've picked up a few character points just by showing up... |

"Into the belly of the beast," and all that. Unafraid to debate, even in an unfriendly forum. Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead. Into the valley of death.
Nope. He wants to play the wounded primadonna. I may be wrong, but I don't think the folks in Alaska care much for primadonnas.

8. Ah, the 'old scheduling conflict |
|
I didn't think this race could get any more interesting, but it has. Is Joe Miller done? I think so.
