GOP tells Latinos "Just Don't Vote".
There are a lot of subterranean efforts afoot around the country right now to suppress the vote of various racial minorities. But a group styling itself Latinos for Reform is taking a more straightforward approach: they're running ads in Nevada asking Latino voters simply not to vote.

The ads are the work of Robert Desposada, a Republican political consultant and Univision pundit

1. Latinos and any other minority (and here in NV, logical people are a minority)
ain't gonna vote for Sharon Braun...their only hope is suppressing the vote.

2. Republicans got oh so so so upset that Obama asked black voters to
come out and vote in an off year, as well as youth voters, as well as Hispanic voters.

It's more disgusting, of course, when a political party asks people not to vote!

3. I just can't believe how low they are willing to sink. There is no
"not willing to go there" in the GOP. Sickening.

4. I think the smearing of a triple-amputee Vet proved that.

5. You're right. I'd like to think nothing shocks me anymore from
the GOP, but they still manage to shock me.

I'm thinking this is such a crude and transparent trap that no one will fall for it....still....the anger is real, the sense of betrayal that instead of immigration reform we got record deportation numbers is real...

I think it would be smart to create a counter attack ad, pointing out the obvious, highlighting their racism and desire to spread the Arizona immigration law nationwide. Even if it is to say they are worse. There are plenty of sound bites from GOP leaders to do a dozen ads.

I think it is necessary, but I doubt anything will be done to counter attack this :-(

I wonder where these ads are being aired? I haven't seen them on TV
