If nothing else changed but unemployment was 5% and the deficit down from Shrub's level... Obama would be at 85% approval and the Congress would be safe.

Enough people will believe that an army of blue collar Americans frightened by the prospect of receiving health care and seeing billionaires' taxes return to Clinton-era levels suddenly emerged out of nowhere to sweep the Republicans to victory, as long as the media keeps drumming that narrative into their heads.
