I Don't Believe The Republicans Have The Votes
But they have Diebold

and the pre-set narrative

That may be all they need

1. I don't either but after the astonishing Scott Brown win I'll wait for the results.
It ain't over 'til it's over.

4. they have the votes.
when people don't have jobs, going into second year of unemployment... throw in some red meat and catch words and the Teabagger klansmen and you're looking at a wipeout.

If nothing else changed but unemployment was 5% and the deficit down from Shrub's level... Obama would be at 85% approval and the Congress would be safe.

7. I didn't unrec it. I don't unrec.
And I agree that the educated public who knows their ass from a hole in the ground knows exactly what brought us here...

BUT

this nation is made up of about 50% morons. Look at the polling. White Male America is in literal revolt over the "evil socialist Kenyan Muslim"...

When Obama said they "cling to their guns and religion" he was right. In addition he could have added racism, "cling to their guns, religion and racism" would have been more correct.

12. They haven't needed them
And they won't need them now. Enough people will believe that an army of blue collar Americans frightened by the prospect of receiving health care and seeing billionaires' taxes return to Clinton-era levels suddenly emerged out of nowhere to sweep the Republicans to victory, as long as the media keeps drumming that narrative into their heads.

11. I think they have the votes.
For the life of me, I can't understand why. But I think they have them.

Are people just not paying attention at all? Do they just vote against the incumbent party after two years when everything isn't coming up rose petals? Are they really that stupid?
