House Polling Dump - 10/19/10
Not going to lie, there's not a ton of great news here. When the silver lining is that Barney Frank is probably not in too much danger, it's a pretty rotten batch of polls. At least I'm not changing any ratings because of them... yet.

1. Closest poll I heard about Frank was when his opponent said Frank was leading by 10.

If Bielat had better polls to show for his money, he would publish them, so I am not too worried (other gaffes of his partner aside).

2. Most of the "Frank's in trouble" stuff
was bluster. Bielat did have the "only down 10" poll, which, once adjusted for the internal factor was probably a worse result than this most recent Frank one. Like I said, he won't win by as much as he's used to, but he should win.

3. Himes will win. Himes bought 800k worth of airtime and stll has 650k on hand
CT-4 has many Democrats/leaners in the lower part of the county. Ignore, upper Fairfield (Trumbull, Monroe, Newtown, Bethel, Shelton :puke:).
Debicella (R-Craptown) has 450k on hand and nothing else. The RCCC has not given him any money.

4. A little wary...
The CoH advantage is nice, but at the same time Himes has outspent Debicella by $600,000 in the last three months and hasn't been able to separate.

5. As I said, go up to Trumbull, Monroe, Shelton, Newtown, Easton,

they are militant Republicans. The Democrats have to get out and vote.
I will vomit if that POS from Shelton (mobtown) gets into congress. :puke:
The CT Capital poll is questionable at least. They had Blumenthal tied with McMahon and that is certainly not true.

6. There's plenty of good reports on the Senate side
And the House is improving, not worsening.
One week from today with more good news coming each day, the House is going to look much better.
Two weeks is a long time.
NO ONE should give up or lose focus.
