I really don't care what anyone thinks of me .

Yet I have to say this election is one of the freakiest I have even seen.

If the Dems which I have been a Dem all my life were so concerned about black box voting machines why have they not by done away with them?

I am at the point of not seeing any reality in career politicians , this was never meant to be a lifetime career . It was also not the sort of position one seeks to become wealthy yet many in both parties have , become wealthy that is.

Lets face it , the public schools are screwed as are the children of today. The wars are some sort of freak show for funds and resource , the death toll rises everyday ,if and when the soldies do return they are left with NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

Put commom sense into play , if it costs millions to buy a seat then what are we really looking at here , an honest politician who cares about the people or someone who has the money and desire to be in the seat of power and control?

Jobs continue to vanish and there is no end in sight , the wars continue with no end in sight asnd here we have politicians and all the wedge issues in place and some sort of globale economy that holds the gun to ones head.

Is there a conscience or right or wrong mentality left in this country or has it all over the decades evolved into just one sick game , win or lose and no one cares?

5. Politicians run mainly on ego. Little else really matters.

Don't get me wrong. There are some good ones, but even the good ones succumb to the constant ass kissing by acquaintances, deference by friends, and downright slavish devotion of staffers.

People become politicians because they want applause and approval. They are often addicted to it, and after attaining it, keeping it is all that really matters.

Once one accepts this about them, understanding their chronic failures is easier. Many of them are ego driven screw ups whose main talent is being committed to winning the next election.

7. It is hard to get your balance

isn't it? I think of past elections, past party platforms, past representatives that actually did care. Often I think I must be just getting old but no, it is absolutely fucked up. I have never seen anything like this and wish never to see anything like this again. It is insane and we are rocking over a cliff that should scare each of us.
