What some college students think of election, White House (CNN)
http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/10/19/youth.vote/index.html

Check out this video of some interviews with college kids about the election.

Ughh, these videos make me embarrassed of my generation. These kids just dont know what they are talking about, even the ones who are dems seem to have trouble putting together a simple thought. Seeing this kind of stuff really trips me out because I guess I like to assume that my generation is smarter than the previous and we aren't as easily fooled by bullshit, but a lot of people my age seem to be falling for the same old stuff.

3. Sorry
I thought most younger generation were familiar with World of Warcraft. There are many college aged players who spout the Republican talking points in anger in game chat.

4. The average person does not get interested in politics until they
have a stake in the race...

It's been that way since the voting age was lowered to 18...

when you have a mortgage, are paying taxes, worried about the economy, that is when voting in elections really kicks in...

5. College kids have more of a stake than they used to.
Their odds of getting a job are the worst I've seen.
