The rich have looted this planet and now they expect us to make the sacrifices.

Osborne is a stupid RW upper-class twit, and moreover his party doubtless wish to aim the cuts where they are less likely to cost them votes, i.e. people who wouldn't vote Tory anyway, i.e. the poor especially in the North.

2. If you are in debt do you give money you make away to others?

Why do we think gov can decrease taxes and increase spending.

3. How about government increasing taxes on the rich, rather than cutting help to the poor?

There would have been SOME cuts even under a Labour government; but a lot of the cuts here are due to Thatcherite desire to 'shrink the state' on the part of our Tories.
