A reminder about the Thomas Hearings . . .

there were 3 more women set to testify that Thomas had sexually harassed them as well; however, there was a backroom deal made with the Republicans to push Thomas through and those 3 women were never allowed to testify. The DEMOCRAT who made the backroom deal was Joe Biden. I haven't been able to stomach him since then.

Sorry to piss off the Party Loyale but it's important to remember Biden's hand in helping get Thomas on the Bench.

:shrug: Three victims were not heard from in a Congressional Hearing to place on the Bench arguably one of the least qualified people in the history of the SC. Thomas, whose sole contribution to the Bench is pointing to Scalia and uttering, "What he said." I might suggest you go back and view those hearings and see how the Republicans PUMMELED Anita Hill -- the VICTIM -- and how silent way too many Democrats were -- including and especially Biden. It was disgraceful.

13. They had a clip of Slappy on the morning news

His testimony about the "high tech lynching" (whatever in hell that means) and going on to say how tough it was for a black man to speak his mind. This from a man who's made his career on the bench simply nodding at whatever the white guy says. Yeah, it must be tough to be Uncle Thomas. I was also struck by how much he kept licking his lips and pursing his mouth while he was "testifying." Even at this far remove, his body language just screamed "liar" to me.
