The Ginny Thomas phone call is a "political" contrivance??

The wife of Clarence Thomas calls Anita Hill at 7:30 in the morning to ask her to apologize for something that happened about 20 years ago. Why??

Was it just on her mind? Is something wrong with Clarence? Is he just too over-worked writing all those decisions on the Supreme Court? Or is there another reason?

In my opinion, the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas controversy of many years ago divided the black community. Thomas called it a "high-tech lynching". Anita Hill accused him of sexual harassment by talking about "pubic hairs" on a Coke can.

So, the whole idea by Ginny Thomas is to try to divide the black voters again before this crucial election. At the present time, a huge majority of blacks will vote Democratic. If they can get just a couple of percentage points difference in the turnout in selected races, it could make the difference in who controls the House?

If that is not the case, then what is Ginny Thomas up to??

So I am guessing she got drunk and decided that she would give Hill another chance to admit she (Hill) was wrong. Republican arrogance.
This became a story when Hill went to security and the FBI with the message. I can bet Ms. Thomas did not want that.

Thomas has been blowing smoke up his wifes' ass ever since he met her and she is starting to notice whisps of it coming out of her other orafices. It first started seeping out of her tear ducts but she attributed that to her monthlies. But then it started leaching out of her ears, nose and throat. Twenty some odd years of wanton wishing he would offer her a soda but it never arives has got her mind in a pantie twist.

Believe, you me. No one, and I mean NO ONE, was rushing to Thomas' defense in the DC black community.

Folks there are pretty savvy political and they knew the deal... Thomas' was Bush's slap in the face to Thurgood Marshall. Why else promote some Republican functionary that no one had ever heard of?

The mere fact that Hill testified that the man was a perv pretty cemented the notion that Thomas was nothing more than an empty suit.

So, if that's what his wife is trying to do, divide the black community, she' s a day late and a dollar short.
