We're on a fixed income so donating to DU had to get taken off the budget. The ads that come with being a non-donor hasn't been a big deal...until now.

11. After months of debate, I decided to open an Adsense account for my music Web site

To my horror, the first few ads that appeared came from ticket scalpers! I submitted the URLs to my account, and they were gone within a week.

As for donating to DU, there has been more than one occasion when I couldn't give more than five bucks, but I always have. No one should feel that they shouldn't give anything because they can't give a lot.
