Scott McAdams has raised a million dollars in two months.

That may not sound like a lot for you Californians or New Yorkers but for Alaska it's HUGE, especially considering that 88 percent of his donations were in amounts smaller than $200 and 54% came from individual Alaskans.

Joe Miller and Lisa Murkowski are backed by big, big money -- from the Tea Party Express on one hand and from multiple corporate donors on the other. Scott is fighting an uphill battle, but his contribution figures show that he is connecting with ordinary people, and that's good, because in the end people vote, not corporations.

If you have friends or family in Alaska, please encourage them to vote for Scott McAdams and resist the temptation to write in Lisa Murkowski, who is certainly no friend to progressives.

3. He is such a wonderful candidate.

I watched his debate with Lisa Murkowski the other night (Joe didn't show up), and Scott was relaxed, personable, funny, and had answers for all the questions, even the tough ones. Lisa just looked pissed off and honestly almost manic at the beginning until she settled in a bit. Scott is clearly the better candidate here.
