A fun way to take out your rage on the republican ads on DU

So, I realize it doesn't solve the issue of the pro-republican ads running on DU right now, however if you (like me) need a way to take out your anger on the ads and make them disappear for a little, try visiting http://erkie.github.com/ and adding their fun little program to your book marks. After you ad it it will call up a little triangle blaster to whatever page you're on and by pressing spacebar will blow up the HTML attached to whatever it's pointing at! This removes the HTML of the ad from the current page your on and makes whatever you've blown up disappear.

Hopefully it's as therapeutic for the rest of you as it's been for me!

2. I have firefox adblocker personally

I'm too broke to donate =( I figured that someone out there might enjoy blowing up the ads. I know it amused me for awhile (then I put the blocker back on!)

3. imo, a better way would be to click on them.

It gets DU money, and makes the candidate spend while gaining no support. It's a win for us.

that I see on a site. They pay and I feel good about that.

They irritate me so on so many sites. I could only afford one site and I picked DU. I love news that comes from the people. I haven't regretted it for a minute. But I will start manipulating those ads on other sites. Sorry suckers.
