TIME TO ORGANIZE A BIG DU MONEY/PHONEBANK BOMB TO THANK ALAN GRAYSON

I was thrilled to see Congressman Grayson here on DU answering questions and just simply replying to comments and hanging out with us on here yesterday.

Now I log on and see this absolute f***ing bull*** news about the DCCC witholding money from him. Well guess what? I've been withholding my money from the DCCC, the DSCC, and the DNC because of crap like this (not to mention the lack of respect shown to the liberal base). There's no way in hell I want my money sent to blue dogs and WITHHELD from liberal candidates. Every time they call my house, I tell them this and tell them I will only be giving my money and time to individual liberal candidates who deserve it. Period.

I have a feeling there are quite a few others in DU-land who are completely fed up with people in the President's Administration calling us things like "retarded" and to stop whining and pretty much giving us a big F*** you after we worked so hard in 2008 to get the President elected.

I can't think of a better way to give them the finger back than to say, fine .... we'll get Alan Grayson, a VOCAL liberal in a very red district of a red state, re-elected WITHOUT your damned help.

So.... if anyone even has a dollar or two, please send it Congressman Grayson's way. If you have cellphone minutes available, he said they need a lot of phonebank help.

Question to Skinner: Is there any way this could be conducted as a formal fundraiser with a progress "thermometer" at the top of the main page or is that against DU policy? Just as a way of saying thank you to Cong. Grayson for joining us here to answer questions?? Like say, how much can we raise by the end of this weekend?!

Asking for donations. I wrote them back and said they would get no more money from me since they decided to de-fund Congressman Grayson. I'll donate directly to the candidates from this point on.

is an embarrassment to the Dems because he says what he thinks and while they sit on their bums and complain or apologize for him he is about the only one who tells it like it is and isn't afraid to speak truth to power. He has the qualities that I would just love to see in a president...someone who would go up against the power elite, who would get things done for the American People, for us. He could put some backbone back in the Dem Party. This is what we all wanted from Obama but didn't get. Help Alan whatever way you can.
