Also, Vincent McSteroids has brought WWE fans into this election! Read this email from the Blumenthal campaign!

Tell the WWE they can't buy this election!

Dear Dawson Leery,

Linda McMahon must think there's a "For Sale" sign on Connecticut's Senate seat.

McMahon said she'd spend $50 million in this race - and her recent filing shows she is right on track with $41.5 million in this race as of September 30. But all that money has not made up for losing debates, losing endorsements, and refusing to give seniors straight answers on Social Security. So now she is reaching into even deeper pockets to try and buy this election.

Earlier this week, Linda's husband, Vince McMahon launched "Stand Up for WWE," an overt and brazen attempt by a corporation -- controlled by the McMahon family -- to buy an election.

Help us fight back -- make a contribution right now.

In the wake of the "Citizens United" ruling, corporations can now spend UNLIMITED amounts of money to influence political races. Now we're seeing corporations influence elections across the country.

What we are witnessing in Connecticut is one of the most outrageous examples of corporate pressure working to buy an election in recent memory.

The WWE is directing their millions of viewers to take to Facebook, Twitter, and any means possible to attack Richard Blumenthal. Their campaign's efforts to influence this election include PR efforts, paid media, rapid response and grassroots efforts. It is a juggernaut attempt to distract people from this truth...

Linda McMahon built her company by putting profits before people. Whether that's denying her wrestlers health care, making them sign death clauses or even as one investigation is now examining, evading taxes -- McMahon's pattern of profits before people is undeniable. Now, her family's company is using these same profits to try and divert attention from her record. It is ironic -- but it is also dangerous.

We cannot let their efforts succeed. We must fight back. Please stand with us today and give us the resources we need to fight back.
Help us fight back - make a contribution right now.

Over the coming days the McMahons will use their corporate money to try and drown out our voices. They will blitz the media, they will organize, and they will use their celebrity wrestlers and television specials to try and promote their cause.

But their money cannot buy a record of public service, fighting for people. It cannot buy a plan to move our state and our country forward. And it cannot buy a track record of standing up to the special interests for the people of Connecticut. Those are all things that Dick Blumenthal already has -- we just need the funds to get out our message over the final days.

We need your help more than ever. Please make a gift today to help us fight back.

Let's stand up for Connecticut,

Mindy Myers
Campaign Manager
Blumenthal for Senate
