"I have zero desire, just so you know, to be in the limelight," Bush said. "I don't think it's good for the country to have a former president criticize his successor. You're not going to see me giving my opinions in the public arena, until I start selling my book. I'm going to emerge then submerge."

He was the model for all current teabagger candidates, although some of them make him look like the smart one. :eyes:

3. So Idiot Son lets us know in no uncertain terms...
That he is going to bash his successor in his new book... but he won't do that now, not in public... wouldn't be prudent.

STFU, traitor! Crawl back under your slimy rock, you fucking bastard!

4. "You're not going to see me giving my opinions in the public arena, "
until someone makes them up for him and writes them down in plain block letters, short sentences and limited punctuation marks. Without speechwriters, he's screwn, and even with them he's not much of a speechifier.

7. But he NEEDS to be in the limelight, and we need him there:
on the docket as a defendant in a war crimes trial at The Hague.

11. He Knows He's Still Toxic...
Remember, the GOTB is trying to rebrand itself and boooshie is their scapegoat. It's as if they all had collective amnesia from 2001 through 2009 and boooosh did all those bad things without their knowledge. When they woke up on January 20, 2009 he had vanished. In short, he left office in disgrace and few of his "friends" call these days. Be assured that if he were an asset in elections, he'd be out stumpin' Grifterella.

If he's out to do anything it's to "set the record straight". His "book" will be an attempt to rewrite history but few will be buying. His exile is not of his own design. Thank goodness.

16. This is his subtle dig at Obama.
Obama has invoked Bush quite a bit--and 95% of the time he's been correct to do so, so this is Georgie Boy's way of passive-aggressively attacking him.

21. is it just me?
that can't say his name or type it out? or when that visage appears on some form of media, I can't resist the urge to give it a one finger salute and a hearty f...you?

If it appears on the teevee, I have a strong desire to throw the closest thing to my hand at the teevee (I haven't succumbed to that yet, but it gets stronger at each appearance and I can't afford another teevee)

Peace

on a sloping board, dipping his head beneath the water, record his squeals and do it another 130 times - as happened to KSM.
