Thursday Afternoons: Majorly Offensive Van!
When I finish skating practice on Thursday afternoons, I head out to car in the rink's parking lot. I always see this one vehicle parked there: It's a van with Repug and right-wing propaganda splattered all over it. Not just bumper stickers, mind you: The owner must have spent a whole lotta money to have professional printing done on it as well. It's full of shit such as:

"How's Hope and Change working out for you?"
"2nd Amendment Right to Bear Arms."
"Abortion Stops a Beating Heart."

Well, you get the idea. I can't bring myself to actually WALK up to the van and READ the stuff, because it will tick me off so bad that I would take a picture of it with my iPhone. Not a smart thing to do, given people's right to privacy and all. Besides I think I've seen the guy who owns it: He's this old white guy with a Santa-Claus beard who wears a "proud military" type of cap. He's usually walking around the parking lot talking on a cell phone. Today I saw him bring his grandson inside to get him ready for hockey-skating lessons. Anyway, this guy is sure to open a can of WHOOP-ASS if he caught a durty librul commie like me taking a photo of his van!

Just had to share.

1. Ah yes, the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution
Characterized as a "right wing" talking point. Sadly, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

4. I mean, without the owner's permission and all....
Then this guy would have every right to open a can of Whoop-Ass on me! :scared:

But....SHOULD I put my life on the line just to get a silly photo of this crap-ass van?

3. Plus....
I know that First Amendment and all that jazz about free speech applies even for the owner of that van.

7. He has no expectation of privacy in a public parking lot
Nothing wrong with taking a picture, or even putting it on the internet (with any views of the license plate blacked out).
