Well, I think that masturbation never got anybody pregnant, does not make anybody go crazy, and what we're about is preventing HIV in our bright young people. Nobody has to teach anybody how to masturbate, God taught us how. So I think that now, even in our society, they're saying that maybe this is something that we should stress more of for couples and we know that they do already.

2. Common sense is so uncommon.

Masturbation is good for the lonely and unpartnered. It can help one relieve tension and go to sleep. Nobody's even talking about compulsive weird obsesssions. Just relieving the natural hormonally induced tension.

Way back in the Clinton admin didn't Rush Limbaugh try to blow up one of her statements and make out as if Elders was a pervert? I seem to remember something like that. And the Clinton admin didn't exactly stand by Elders. It all seems so long ago.
