The office of Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) has been locked down due to the presence of a suspicious package covered with swastikas, according to reports. KVOA reports that an "envelope containing white powder" was mailed to Grijalva's Tuscon office. Bomb technicians are reportedly on hand.

Grijalva told KVOA that the substance is toxic and Keith Olbermann tweeted that the Congressman would confirm that durring an appearance on "Countdown."

According to the Arizona Daily Star, the envelope was decorated with multiple swastikas and included a "white powdery substance" inside. No one at the office has been injured, Politico reports, which also claims that the FBI is now involved in the investigation.

6. He got a lot of death threats back then, followed by a bullet fired...
...through the window of his Yuma office the day after Judge Bolton enjoined major provisions of the law.

3. How come the postal inspectors didn't notice the swastikas?
They were on the outside of the parcel, right? I know some Native Americans and Hindus still use swastikas on occasion, but this should have been a red flag down at the post office.

5. That's what I'm wondering.
I would think alarm bells would go off with those in the post office - especially at the point of initial pick up - which might have made it easier to track down. Or at the delivery point, knowing it was going to be delivered to a Congressional office!

I admit I'm clueless to the ways of the postal service, but still, wouldn't it have caused some serious consideration at some point?
