1. So, through all the marketing mumbo-jumbo, I read:
"We train CEOs on how to take advantage of the privatization of K-12 education." No?

3. That's how I read it.
I didn't see a thing in there about actual learning either. Looks to me like training to manage a burgeoning revenue stream.

9. Not a word about high school drop-outs.
I don't see any solutions for poverty in there either. Most curious, n'est pas?

2. Ah, the corporatists are busy this morning unrec'ing.
Guess the truth is too painful for those who support the Obama corporatist agenda. Did this drive for corporate profits start with NCLB and Bush's desire to enrich his brother Neil's education publishing company? You know if there's dirt, the BFEE is involved.

4. I have another article about Mike Milken I need to post later.
Seems like right after jail, he went right into "Education". Wasn't Neil the Bush who got in trouble with the S & L scandal too?

5. Kick
I'm waiting for the privatizers to weigh in, you know, those who hate teachers unions and think giving the education over to corporations is a progressive move.

I wanted so much to hear how this is supposed to help education.

18. They're acting out of unresolved issues.
You know, the teacher who peed in their Wheaties. Doesn't matter - it's the same old crowd acting like they "care about children" but in reality support the corporate takeover and profiteering promulgated by the Obama/Duncan scam. They aren't fooling anyone.

I thought it was only a "competition" when they are out to crush the public schools. ;)

17. Any attempt at making K-12 education a for-profit enterprise should be opposed at all cost.
Education, like health care (in my opinion) should not be for-profit.
